This quote resonates with me a lot. I drink about 3-4 cups of tea a day – always PG tips with a little bit of milk – I like my tea strong as I rarely, if ever, drink coffee.
I was starting to wonder if this stuff is actually good for me, or even if it could be bad. I know green tea has the most health benefits but also a lot of caffeine… but what about black tea?
Black tea is not good at hydrating you and one would be much better off drinking just water. Studies have found that there are no proven health benefits or risks in drinking tea BUT…
… scientist also found that tea is proven to reduce stress levels. So the above quote makes complete sense, and I am even more likely now to pop the kettle on when I am feeling a bit stressed out.
