My Dad always told me to never ever solve any problems at night. Sounds like a simple piece of advice but it has helped me on numerous occasions, and I try to stick to it at all costs.
Problems always seem much more grim at nighttime when your body and mind are exhausted. They usually crop up more often and hit harder at bedtime when you start winding down and all daily distractions are gone.
The trick is to postpone them to the next morning, by putting all your energy into positive thoughts and therefore getting a good nights sleep.
I find when you wake up in the morning, the problem or worry will straight away pop back into your head but your rested body and mind will deal with it much better.
To happy thoughts and dreams.
