Electrolyte solution vs common apple juice. I believe in water and tea for our girls but it can get a bit boring, so we do offer diluted apple juice as it's one of the fruit juices that has no added sugar. We also give it to them when they have a tummy bug. Sick kids can be difficult to convince to drink enough fluids. Interestingly a clinical trial shows it's the right choice! There is no need to get electrolyte solution as diluted apple juice rehydrates as effectively and helps prevent dehydration. And guess what our kids prefer to drink!
