It's amazing how diet can affect our teeth in both good and bad ways. We all have sugar, wheat, fizzy drinks and acidic foods now and then so brushing teeth simply becomes a necessity. I can count on one hand the times our kids went to bed without brushing, even when they are tired and cranky we always brush their teeth.
Bad teeth can be the cause of a lot of other health issues if left untreated. And although for the kids it's their first teeth they build the base for the adult teeth coming in. I have written more about our toothbrushing routine in a blog post on the website.
